Phase 1 Update: Repair, Replace and Expand

Phase 1 of the Repair, Replace, Expand initiative is well underway! After the significant damage caused to our campus by the February 2021 winter storms, the Lord spoke clearly to us that we are now standing at the “Golden Gate Bridge” of opportunity to not only repair and replace, but to expand for the future. (To learn more, see CEO Pastor George Pearson’s previous update HERE.)

Want to sow your seed into Repair, Replace and Expand?

During Phase 1, we are getting our power plant back online, as well as making needed repairs to our buildings, replacing equipment and so much more. Following the Lord’s direction, we are not replacing things back to where they were; rather, we are upgrading with newer models and better functionality.

We have experienced God’s abundant favor and provision every step of the way!
Here are a couple testimonies of what has happened so far:

  • We were able to purchase more than 300 state-of-the-art, latest-model cubicles at a 65% discount to replace the ones we’ve had for 35 years. We even got to choose our own fabric!
  • We set a goal to purchase two power plant generators in Phase 1 and one additional generator in Phase 2. While working with the manufacturing company, the prices dropped. The company offered to drastically reduce the price even further if we purchased the third generator at the same time which saved at least $100,000.

We are rejoicing over miraculous things taking place!

Our main goals for Phase 1:

  • All buildings fully operational
  • Headquarters remodeled and furnished
  • Landscaping replanted
  • New power plant online
  • Make campuswide upgrades

Our Phase 1 budget to accomplish these goals was $6 million. We are overjoyed to report that God has already provided over $8.4 million through the generous donations of our Partners and Friends who have chosen to sow into this initiative. Glory to God!

Because of your giving, we are getting the job done! And why are we doing this? So we can fulfill the mission and vision for Kenneth Copeland Ministries and Eagle Mountain International Church—to take believers from the milk of the Word to the meat, teach them an uncommon faith so they can stand victoriously in life, and get the uncompromised Word of Faith on every available voice. To accomplish this, we must have a fully functional, updated facility.

And this is only the beginning! The expand part of our initiative, most of which will be coming in Phase 2, is important, as that will enable us to accomplish our mission in more and new ways. Expanding will position us for the good works the Lord has called us to and has already prepared for us to accomplish in the future. We are excited for what is to come!

We are standing in faith for the same things for you— that He will equip and position YOU for the good works He has called YOU to.

When our maintenance manager was initially surveying the damaged buildings and broken equipment everywhere, the Lord told him to continually confess, “It’s not as bad as it looks!” Almost immediately, we saw the hand of the Lord begin to turn things around.

Wherever you see discouraging situations, that same word belongs to you. We’re Partners! Declare it just as we are, “It’s not as bad as it looks!”

Then, thank the Lord for all He is doing, and praise Him for what He is about to do through this ministry and in your life to repair, replace and expand.

Always remember, God loves you, we love you, and…JESUS IS LORD!

Happy Thanksgiving to our CX Team!

Mission 3: Update – Thank you for your faithfulness and generosity!

With Thanksgiving upon us, it really is time for CX leadership to give thanks for the faithfulness of every CX Team member who has sown so generously this year. By the time you receive this letter, together, your freshly sown CX seed will have nearly crossed the $1 million mark—just since July! Praise the Lord.

So, of the $2.2 million needed to completely reconfigure the GV interior and close out Mission 3, almost half that mountain is already cast into the sea, and more is headed there every day. The goal is to provide all the funds for this final phase as soon as possible, because the work will not commence until the cash is in the bank—in full. In the meantime, Brother Copeland is making great use of the GV on his trips, as well as planting some twice-sown GV seed—such as recently taking Reinhard Bonnke to Peru. He has also expressed how this particular aircraft has favorably impacted him physically by allowing FULL REST during his travels. Arriving physically, mentally and spiritually rested allows him to be even better prepared to minister the Word. Oh, what a good work God has wrought through YOU! Thank you.

Faith is NOW, and we celebrate together over a bountiful harvest on your CX seed sown! As you read this message, angels are at work, delivering your customized harvest. We speak THE BLESSING over you, and we know God is looking to and from across the earth for those whom He can strongly support, those whose hearts are wholly His and through whom He can accomplish His work on earth. That’s you!

Using my faith, I have personally experienced many miracles, and I have continued to learn more about faith through my walk with Jesus Christ. It seems everything God has asked my family to do appears impossible—but with Him, it’s not. God wants us to dream big and to believe for a big harvest. I recently met with a pastor from Sweden. He told me he was praying for a house and God told him, You’re believing in your own natural ability. You aren’t believing big enough for Me to be involved.

The point is, if it’s something we can do, we don’t need faith in God. In Scripture and through personal experience, I’ve repeatedly seen that faith grows when we stretch, and many things that look impossible in the natural come to fruition by faith. God wants to see how far out we will step, in faith, to meet Him. He’s not the limitation to what we achieve. When that pastor realized this and stepped out in faith, God met him with a home far greater than he originally expected. Praise be to God! He’ll do it for you too.

Mission 3 was a huge step of faith when it launched. We had no idea how much God would enlarge our vision, or how much impact the GV would have on this ministry or on Brother Copeland. In the same way, I believe God has plans for your harvest that are beyond expectation! I encourage you to enlarge your vision and stretch your faith for a bountiful harvest on ALL the CX seed you’ve sown—and will continue to sow. Let’s wrap up the rest of this GV mission and prepare to move to whatever is the next CX mission God sets before us. As we do so—in faith—we’ll see God move as only He can!

We love you and look forward to hearing about your harvest! To God be the glory.

Happy Thanksgiving to our CX family!

Commit an Act of Love

by Kenneth Copeland

“But someone will say, ‘You have faith, and I have works.’ Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?”

James 2:18-20, New King James Version

Do you believe God loves you? Do you really, truly believe it?

There’s only one way to know for sure. Look at your life and see if you are acting on that love.

Something you genuinely believe, you’ll act on. For instance, if someone were to come into a crowded room and say, “The building is on fire!” everyone who believed it would immediately get out. Those who did not believe it would say things like, “I don’t smell any smoke. Do you smell any smoke?” They’d just sit there, waiting for their physical senses to tell them if what was said was true.

Now let’s add another element to this illustration. Let’s say the person who came in and said “The building is on fire!” was a fireman. Now with that added to it, it would really be foolish not to act on his word because he knows what he’s talking about.

That’s the position you and I are in today. God—who definitely knows what He is talking about—has said that He loves us. Most of us have mentally agreed. If someone asks us, we tell them, “Oh yes, I know God loves me.” But most of us haven’t done much about it. We’re still just sitting there, waiting for further evidence of that truth.

[loverevolution-social-share]

That evidence won’t come until we get up and do something! Why? Because just knowing God loves us isn’t enough. It’s acting on that knowledge that brings results!

“What should I do?” you ask.

First of all, open your mouth and say something. Start talking about how much God loves you. Instead of saying, “Gee, I hope this situation turns out all right,” say, “Praise God, I have confidence this situation is going to turn out all right, because my Father loves me and perfects that which concerns me” (Psalm 138:8). Use every opportunity to confess your faith in God’s love for you.

Second, start acting on God’s WORD. When you read, for example, that as a believer you can lay hands on the sick and they’ll recover, don’t shrink back in fear. Don’t sit around wondering what will happen if you lay hands on someone and they don’t get well. Get up and get after it, believing God loves you enough to back you up. The minute you do that, God’s love will suddenly become more than a religious concept to you…it will become a reality. That’s when you’ll begin to see what the power of love can do.

LOVE ASSIGNMENT: Watch today for an opportunity to let your love take action! Do you see an unhappy face? Say a kind word. Do you see a body in pain? Ask if you may pray for the illness. Do you know of someone who is being abused? Let them know you care and pray for them. You can do it…Love can do it! And you are the child of Love!

Speak the Truth in Love

by Kenneth Copeland

“The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive.”

Proverbs 16:21, New Living Translation

Sometimes when believers begin to find out what The WORD of God says and gain some spiritual discernment, they become harsh and abrasive with others. If they see someone else making a mistake, they’re quick to point it out and correct that person. They speak scriptural truth, yes, but instead of being blessed by that truth, those who receive it end up feeling hurt or condemned.

It can be tempting just to shrug off others’ hurt feelings and say, “Well, it’s just my job to tell people the truth. They can do with it what they want.” But that’s not what the Bible says for us to do. It doesn’t just instruct us to tell people the truth. It says we should speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).

How we approach something determines, to a great degree, how well people can receive it. Words that BLESS and are full of kindness and genuine concern for the well-being of another, enhance that person’s ability to learn from them. On the other hand, words that are accurate but cold and uncaring rarely help anyone.

It’s love that makes the truth receivable.

[loverevolution-social-share]

Even the gospel message, as powerful as it is, will often be rejected by people who would otherwise want it, when it is preached without a spirit of love. We can preach salvation with a tone of judgment, and an attitude that we’re “holier than thou,” and actually rob people of the ability to receive it. But if we’ll speak to them about it in love, their defenses will start to fall. When they hear not only our words but the compassion behind them, their hearts will open up and they’ll want to hear what we have to say. They’ll want to accept and embrace it instead of pushing it away.

So before we jump out and just start telling people everything we see and all the truth we know, we need to check our hearts. We need to ask, “Why am I saying these things? Am I just trying to show how much I know? Am I trying to be the big-shot teacher and corrector? Or am I genuinely and deeply concerned about this person?”

If we truly desire to speak from a motivation of love, the majority of the time we’ll clothe our words with gentleness and kindness. We’ll emphasize the goodness of God and His love for that person, rather than magnifying what they’ve done wrong.

After all, the Bible says it’s the goodness of God that leads to repentance (Romans 2:4). It’s His love in our hearts and on our lips that will inspire and encourage others to change.

LOVE ASSIGNMENT: When you speak to others today, think before you open your mouth. Check yourself that every word you say will be with the motive of Love…seeking the best for the other person. Take note of their response!

Love Values People

by Kenneth Copeland

“Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”

Romans 13:10, New King James Version

Who is your neighbor? Your neighbor is the person who is near to you at the moment. When you’re standing in line at the ballgame, your neighbor is the man standing in front of you whom you elbowed out of the way to get a better seat. When you’re waiting for a parking place at the grocery store, your neighbor is the person in the car who swerved around you and took the place you’d been waiting for.

The Bible says love does no harm to those people. Love is considerate of them. Love is sensitive to them.

That sounds simple enough. But the fact is, before we can be considerate of someone and sensitive to them, we have to be aware that they exist. We have to be spiritually alert enough to notice them. To do that, we have to get our minds renewed because our culture has trained us to be so self-centered, we don’t even see each other.

It’s amazing. People will notice things before they’ll notice other people. They’ll admire an expensive car and never even see the person driving it. They’ll appreciate buildings, clothes and jewelry, and ignore the people in them as if they’re totally insignificant. But when we fall into that, we’re being deceived. People are far more important than things. Never use people to get things. Use things to BLESS and show God’s love to people.

[loverevolution-social-share]

The only way we can be sure not to do any harm to our neighbor is to value people enough to notice them. We must esteem others as much as we do ourselves. We must see them as being more important than things.

We should never treat someone poorly over a seat at the ballgame or a parking place. But we’ll do it inadvertently if we don’t renew our minds and exercise our awareness of them.

That’s why walking in love requires us to cultivate our consciousness of the impact our words and actions have on the people around us. If we hurt someone’s feelings because we spoke harshly to them (or didn’t speak to them at all), we can’t excuse ourselves by saying, “Hey, I didn’t even realize I offended them,” or “I was thinking about something else and didn’t notice they were standing there.”

That won’t fly because if we’re walking in love, we won’t be that self-absorbed. We’ll see the pain flash across that person’s face when we’re abrupt with them. We’ll consider them more important than our own thoughts and acknowledge them when we walk by.

Love gives us a heightened awareness of others that keeps us from carelessly neglecting them. It ensures we do our neighbor no harm.

LOVE ASSIGNMENT: As you go through the day, pay attention to the people themselves, before you address any issue with them. Take a few minutes to allow the Love in you to be aware of them. It could make all the difference in their day…and yours!
