10 Things You Should Say Every Day for Great Change in 2020

Things You Should Say Every Day for Great Change in 2020

Is changing your life in 2020 as simple as speaking these phrases? We think so.

READING TIME: 8 MINUTES

Are you expecting big changes, breakthroughs and manifestations in 2020? (Hint: Your answer should be YES.)

Here’s the deal.

You can actually choose what kind of year you’re going to have!

How?

By choosing how you think and the words you speak. The Bible is full of scriptures instructing us to choose our words wisely. And James 3 tells us we steer the direction of our lives with the words we speak. (Find out if you’ve been sinking your own ship with your words HERE.)

The key to speaking life-changing words begins with your BELIEVING (Matthew 12:34). As you speak right words, you will renew your mind to truth and your right believing will become the driving force behind your results.

According to the word of the Lord through Kenneth Copeland, 2020 is a year of new visions, manifest power and great change. You can experience great change when you choose to harness the power of your words!

But you must make a decision—and a plan.

If you don’t have a plan, fear not—we have one to help you get started, so you can harness the power of your words! Here are 10 Things You Should Say Every Day for Great Change in 2020.

Read. Speak. Change.

1. “I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me”

Philippians 4:13 is perhaps one of the most quoted Bible verses of all time among Christians. This uplifting, spirit-strengthening, world-conquering promise is what so many believers crave, but so few truly believe.

What does it say can you do through Christ? All things. Think about that. You can do anything and everything with the help of Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing. Does that mean anything and everything that’s just possible in the natural? Of course not! All things, which include the impossible, too.

What are some examples of all things?

  • Getting a job for which you are not qualified
  • Getting a raise when the company you work for never gives raises
  • Receiving healing
  • Defying doctors’ reports
  • Enjoying a lifelong marriage, a secure family and godly children
  • Overcoming an addiction, such as drugs, alcohol, pornography or overeating
  • Getting out of piles of debt
  • Overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles.

And anything else you can think of. “All things” means just that! Are you thinking of it that way and speaking it regularly over your impossible situations?

Norman Vincent Peale, minister and champion of positive thinking, said of this verse, it is “the most powerful antidote on earth to inferiority thoughts.”

When should you say this phrase?

  • When you feel like you’re not good enough
  • When you feel like you’re not qualified
  • When circumstances seem impossible
  • When others speak against your success
  •  When the devil is whispering in your ear that it’s impossible.

Get in the habit of saying this phrase many times each day. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” It will bring great change to your life in 2020—guaranteed.

2. “If God Is For Me, Who Can Be Against Me?”

Another verse that is often quoted, but rarely allowed to take root, is found in Romans 8:31. It isn’t just a nice thought or an idea too far out of reach, it is a truth and should be lived out as a lifestyle.

Repeating this phrase, again and again, will bring great change to your life in 2020. When the truth that God is for you gets down in your spirit, you’ll never fear again. You’ll never be discouraged again. You’ll never slip into unbelief again.

If God is for you—no one else has a chance against you. Nothing the enemy has planned to defeat you will work. God is undefeatable. So, if God is for you, then your boss can’t be against you, your physical symptoms can’t be against you, creditors can’t be against you, family members can’t be against you.

THIS REVELATION WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE.

Watch Gloria Copeland teach you how to replace fear with faith.

Get in the habit of speaking this phrase every day about every situation. “God is with me. He is helping me in every situation. If God is for me, I can be promoted. If God is for me, I will have a successful marriage. If God is for me, no sickness or disease can conquer me. If God is for me, I can make this sale.”

Keep saying it and keep saying it. Make it part of your day until it becomes part of your spirit man. God is for you. Let that sink in and say it out of your mouth. It’s a powerful truth that will bring great change to your life in 2020 and forever.

3. “This Is the Day the Lord Has Made—I Will Rejoice and Be Glad in It”

Believe it or not, this phrase from Psalm 118:24 will change the whole course of your day. If you wake up saying things like, “Oh no, it’s Monday,” or, “Oh great, I have to go to that meeting today,” guess how your day is going to end up? Just like you expected.

But…if you can take charge of your day before it even has a chance to get underway, you put yourself in the driver’s seat, which is precisely where you want to be. So, when you wake up in the morning—before any other thoughts come into your head—say, “This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. Thank You, God, for another day. I praise You and thank You that today is going to be a great day!”

4. “I Am Healed”

Don’t wait until you’re sick or receive a bad report from the doctor to say this phrase. No. You should be speaking this—All. The. Time.

Isaiah 53:5 said it, 1 Peter 2:24 confirms it—you are healed by the stripes of Jesus. It doesn’t matter how you feel, what your symptoms say, or what the doctor says—Jesus says, “It is finished.” You are healed.

Don’t wait until you’re facing sickness or disease to build up your spirit in this area—speak words of healing daily. Say, “I am healed from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Jesus paid the price, and He says I was healed, so I am healed now. I believe it. I receive it. No weapon formed against my body will ever prosper in Jesus’ Name!”

5. “I Don’t Believe in Defeat”

How is this one for bold? It might be tough to get it out the first few times. You may not have ever thought these words before, let alone spoken them. But, let’s look at how this is 100% biblical.

  1. If you can do all things through Christ (Philippians 4:13), you should not expect defeat.
  2. If you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37), you should not expect defeat.
  3. If Jesus gave you the victory (1 Corinthians 15:57), you should never expect to be defeated.
  4. If He always causes you to triumph (2 Corinthians 2:14), you should not expect defeat.

Will you face trials? Yes. But you should always expect to come out on the other side victorious. You should not believe in defeat.

Next time you are tempted to accept defeat in your health, finances, marriage, children, job, ministry or anything else—remind yourself of the truth and speak this life-changing phrase: “I do not believe in defeat.”

6. “I Have the Mind of Christ”

This phrase, based on 1 Corinthians 2:16, is a powerhouse. This is chock full of revelation most Christians have never tapped in to. Don’t let that be you.

This phrase, just like the others, will change your life. Why? Because it takes your own ability out of the equation. It means you don’t have to be a genius to have triumphant success. You don’t have to have 10 college degrees hanging on the wall to be wealthy. You don’t have to know how to handle difficult circumstances in front of you—you just have to be tuned in to the Holy Spirit.

Watch Kenneth Copeland and Dr. Don Colbert teach you why you have the mind of Christ.

Is there something in your life you feel is too hard for you right now? Say, “I have the mind of Christ.” That’s a game changer, isn’t it?

If you have the mind of Christ, you will be wise with all spiritual wisdom, and you’ll always know what to do and even have sudden information you’ve never known before. That is something that is guaranteed to bring great change to your 2020.

7. “I Am Blessed”

This phrase will change your life because it will keep you out of the danger zone. If you’re already speaking, “I am blessed,” you won’t have time to complain or speak fear and doubt. It will keep you on the faith side—the winning side.

Make a habit of speaking this life-changing phrase every day and in every situation. No matter what circumstances you’re facing, there is always some form of blessing operating in your life. And when you aren’t feeling so blessed? Speak it by faith. When people ask you how you are—get in the habit of saying, “I am blessed.”

8. “I Am a Blessing to Others”

The way you live will honor and please the Lord when you live with spiritual wisdom and do good and kind things for others (Colossians 1:9-10).

Keith Moore leads his congregation in a set of confessions that includes the phrase, “I am a major blessing to others.” That’s what we’re called to, isn’t it?

It can be easy to spend more time focusing on our own healing, finances and family and forget the importance of sowing into the lives of others. But if you make a daily habit of speaking the phrase, “I am a blessing to others,” it will bring great change to your life in more ways than one.

You’ll find yourself being more in tune with those around you and finding more ways to be a blessing. Your sowing will increase, which means your reaping will go through the roof!

9. “Everything I Do Prospers”

Are you a win-some, lose-some kind of person? Someone who expects to have some hits, but also some misses? If so, this one’s for you.

Look long and hard in the Bible, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a verse that supports the idea that you should expect to live a life of hits and misses. It’s not in there. That’s because God has declared THE BLESSING over our lives. He says you’re the head, not the tail, above and not beneath (Deuteronomy 28:13)—not sometimes, all the time. It also says you will always be on top, never on the bottom.

Even better? Everything you put your hands to will prosper (verses 8-9)!

Now, that doesn’t mean you’ll be offered every job you apply for or win every game of ParcheesiTM you play. It does mean you can expect what you put your hands to—in accordance with the will of God—will bring prosperity to your life. Verse 8 says, “The Lord will guarantee a blessing on everything you do.”

Glory to God! Your life has a stamp on it marked “Guaranteed Blessing.” Hallelujah!

Are you expecting a guaranteed blessing every time you go to work, minister to someone, open a business, take a test, buy a home or anything else? You should.

If that revelation isn’t real inside you, speaking, “Everything I do will prosper,” is a good start. It’s a phrase that will assure great change in every area of your life in 2020.

10. “No Evil Can Touch Me”

Do you believe this phrase? No evil can touch you—that’s a promise in Psalm 91:10 for those who live as the verse describes. But you put this promise into effect with your faith. No evil can touch you—not your body, your health, your family, your money, your property or your relationships. (Learn more about applying Psalm 91 over your life HERE.)

When you make a habit of declaring Psalm 91 over your life and family every day and in every circumstance, it will change your life. People around you will report bad things, and you’ll find it odd because those things don’t come near you, nor are you expecting them. Why? Because “no evil can touch me” is a phrase that will ensure great change in your life.

These 10 phrases you should say every day for great change in 2020 may be new to you, or maybe you’ve known them for years, but haven’t applied them in this way. As you build your faith and develop this new habit, write them down on a 3-by-5 card and take it with you wherever you go or place it in your Bible where you’ll see it every day. It won’t be long before you find yourself speaking them out of your heart without even thinking about it and seeing the great change you’ve always wanted.

Watch Kenneth Copeland teach you how to see victory with your words.

Want more of God’s power in 2020? Try Gloria Copeland’s personal routine for success.

READING TIME: 5 MINUTES

You know the one…

The person who pushes on a door that clearly reads “Pull.”

Not you, of course. You’d never do that. But some people do. Then, they get frustrated when it doesn’t open. If they’re committed enough to get through that doorway, they’ll stay until they figure it out.

That’s how it works with God’s power.

It’s easy to reach, but you need to follow directions. Mostly, you need to COMMIT to pursue Him until you achieve what you’re after. That’s part of the message behind the word of the Lord through Kenneth Copeland for 2020, which is the year of new visions, manifest power and great change.

While there is no one-size-fits-all approach to a relationship with God, those who DELIGHT in Him always get the desires of their hearts (Psalm 37:4).

Something that’s worth a try? Gloria Copeland’s personal strategy—the hour that brings God’s manifest power.

Interested? Here’s how it works.

Try An Hour of Daily Prayer

“Could you not watch with Me one hour?” –Matthew 26:40 (NKJV)

If you’re already recoiling and making excuses—(Yikes, an hour? I’m really busy), push pause and hear us out.

  • What if one hour could change a jampacked day into one that flows smoothly and leaves you with time to spare?
  • What if one hour of daily prayer could solve the problems that keep you up at night?
  • What if one hour of daily prayer could manifest power in your life like you’ve never imagined?

When God first called Gloria to spend an hour each day praying in the spirit, her thoughts were probably much like yours. But her desire for God outweighed every objection. It took switching around her whole routine and rearranging her schedule—but she did it!

As she began to spend an hour a day praying in other tongues, her life changed dramatically. She was hearing from the Lord more, and circumstances in her life improved. The only thing she did differently was that she prayed for a set amount of time each day—without fail.

Kenneth Copeland teaches you why praying in the spirit prepares you for your future.

Why one hour?

If you spend any amount of time studying the Bible, you know numbers are a big deal with God. In Matthew 26, Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane just before He went to the cross. He warned the disciples of the temptations to come—the lure to be offended, fall away and be scattered.

His instructions? “Watch and pray” (verse 41). When they fell asleep on the job after His first request, Jesus responded, “Could you not watch with Me one hour?” (verse 40, NKJV). Here, He mentions a specific amount of time for prayer, rather than leaving it open-ended.

(Find tips for creating a prayer routine you’ll actually stick with HERE.)

Jesus knew that time spent in prayer was more than just a conversation with God—it was the path to protection, blessing and guidance we all need so much—the key to victory in any situation.

What about you? Where do you want to see a change in your life?

Try an hour of daily prayer. Try it for 40 days.

Watch and see how your time seems to multiply, your burdens seem to lift, and the things that seemed perplexing are suddenly clear. The hour that brings manifest power will bring God into every area of your life!

“I pray in the spirit an hour a day because God told me to. And I tell you, it’s changed my life.” –Gloria Copeland

Stick With It

“Pray without ceasing.” –1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NKJV)

But time isn’t the only key to seeing God’s manifest power.

If you lift weights one day, you’ll be buff the next, right?

We can all dream.

But real muscle isn’t built in a day. It takes time!

The same is true with spiritual muscle. And it’s exactly what the Lord told Kenneth and Gloria long ago when they were first learning to live by faith. As Gloria was seeking the Lord, He spoke these words—In consistency lies the power.

In other words, manifest power comes when you are consistent with your words and your prayer life, and in your pursuit of God. In consistency lies the power.

You can’t be a yo-yo—up one day and down the next—and reach your goals. Consistency equals stability, strength and power. You’ve got to stick with it!

The question is…how much do you want to see God’s manifest power in your life?

Gloria began her routine of a daily hour of prayer when she was facing a trial and needed some answers. The breakthrough wasn’t instantaneous, but as she pressed on and pressed in, she saw the supernatural moving into her situation.

To be consistent in daily prayer, you have to get to a place where you want victory more than you want an extra half hour of sleep, time in front of the television, or any other routine you may have.

Determine today to be consistent. Don’t try to base today on yesterday’s prayer time. Base today on today’s time with the Lord. Start a consistent prayer time today. Then tomorrow, get up and do it again! That’s when you’ll see the difference the hour that brings manifest power can make.

(Find A Recipe for Your Daily Quiet Time HERE.)

 Believe It. Possess It.

“You can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.” –Mark 11:24

Once you’ve committed to consistent time in prayer, the next link to the hour that brings manifest power in your life is how you pray.

The verse above tells us two things—either there isn’t much asking, or there isn’t much believing going on in the Body of Christ. But let’s break it down further…

When we pray, we are not to believe we will receive in the future—we are to believe we receive right at that moment. That’s what Gloria learned from her hour that brings manifest power, and it’s something she’s preached ever since. And if you’ve been around KCM very long, you’ve likely heard her say, “You take it when you pray,” time and again. Because it’s true! And it has worked in her own life.

Most people pray and expect the answer to come later, but Jesus tells us we need to believe we receive: When. We. Pray.

Wait a minute. Before the answer comes?

Yep. That’s faith.

To believe you receive when you pray means you take possession of it in the spirit realm first. Possession of what? Anything you need that is in line with the Word of God.

Jesus said to pray for whatever you desire (Mark 11:24, KJV). But how can you know that what you desire is in line with His Word?

There are four steps that will get you to a place where you can confidently believe and possess what you ask for in prayer during your hour that brings manifest power.

  1. Spend time in the Word of God—lots of time.
  2. Study the promises of God and think on them often.
  3. Keep your emotions in check. Once you’ve built your faith to receive, check your vitals after you finish each prayer. Do you feel peace and joy? Or do you still have some apprehension about whether or not it will actually happen?
  4. Watch your words. Don’t let anything come out of your mouth that is contrary to what you’re believing for. It completely negates your prayers.

When you believe it and possess it, no one can talk you out of it. You don’t have to see a sign of it on the horizon to know that you know that you know it’s yours. You’ll be like Elijah when he was waiting for rain. Though there isn’t the slightest sign of what you want, you’ll keep checking until that tiny cloud appears—knowing it’s only a matter of time.

This is how the hour that brings manifest power can change your life—through time, consistency and a firm belief you’ll receive what you ask. That’s how you can participate in the word of the Lord for 2020 in a very personal way. Remember: Faith isn’t hard. If you’ve been pushing on the door and nothing’s changing—start pulling! As Gloria Copeland reminds us, “Faith will work for anybody who’ll put it to work.”

Watch Kenneth Copeland teach you how to put your faith to work.

What Is True Love?

What Is True Love?

You can be the giver and recipient of the most highly sought-after power source of all time when you find the answer to the age-old question, “What is true love?”

READING TIME: 4 MINUTES

There’s a lot of talk about love this time of year, as Valentine’s Day approaches. Kids pack up small notes and candies to share with classmates, couples go out to fancy dinners, and men rush to buy roses for their special someone.

Love is something we all want DEEPLY, and the pursuit of it can often take us down the wrong road or leave us feeling empty inside. So, how can we know for sure what true love is?

True love is the motive and fuel behind the word of the Lord through Kenneth Copeland for 2020, the year of new visions, manifest power and great change. You can be the giver and recipient of the most highly sought-after power source of all time when you find the answer to the age-old question, “What is true love?”

1. How True Love Feels

The emotions we often call love can come and go quickly, but TRUE LOVE (the kind that lasts a lifetime) must be developed and cultivated. True love is far more than a feeling—it’s a choice—which is good, because sometimes people you love can make you feel like this:

Sure, you can feel warm, fuzzy feelings when you’re around someone, but when those feelings fade or the other person isn’t quite what you hoped they’d be, that’s when true love—the choice—kicks in. In John 13:34, Jesus commanded us to “love each other.” He wasn’t commanding us to have a feeling. He was commanding us to make the right CHOICE.

True love considers the needs of another before themselves. That’s an outright insult to the flesh, and that’s why true love takes work! Just think of how sacrificial God’s love is toward us.

Agape love—the God kind of love—is the most powerful love on earth. And it is UNCONDITIONAL. It has nothing to do with how someone treats you. It has to do with the love coming out of you. As a receiver of God’s agape love, you can be a giver of agape love.

In other words, when you’re willing to meet the needs of another, even when they aren’t meeting yours—by George, you’ve got it!

(Try our Foolproof Method for Finding the Right Husband or Wife HERE)

Feelings are fickle. Make a DECISION to love. Then you’ll know it’s true.

 2. How True Love Acts

Most often, when people think of love, they think of hugging, kissing and holding hands. But love goes far beyond acts of physical affection. And true love isn’t exclusive to an intimate relationship between a man and a woman—love is central to parenting, friendships, extended family (yes, it’s true) and ministry.

Aside from physical affection, some people think true love acts just how you want them to all the time. Not so! True love is defined in 1 Corinthians 13:4-13, which tells us how true love acts:

  • It forgives
  • It sees the best in people
  • It has patience
  • It is kind to others
  • It is not rude or inconsiderate
  • It doesn’t tell people what they want to hear; it tells them what they need to hear
  • It isn’t quick to get angry or offended
  • It is not touchy, fretful or resentful
  • It obeys God

Now, if someone slips in one of these areas now and again, it doesn’t mean they don’t genuinely love you—it means they are imperfect people who need forgiveness. But true love (developed through a relationship with Christ) will work to behave in these ways toward others.

On the other hand, if you’ve been going down this list checking it against someone in your life and thinking, Mm-hmm. I knew it, you’ve missed the point. If you are a giver of true love, you won’t think of how others should treat you, but instead, you’ll focus on how well you can love others. Of course, this is not to say that you should allow someone to treat you any way they like. It is important to have boundaries in any relationship—romantic or not—and an abusive relationship is not one you should tolerate.

(Wondering how to find the right spouse? See our tips HERE.)

 3. How True Love Looks

See the source image

In spite of many cartoon portrayals, true love doesn’t have hearts dancing over its recipient, and it doesn’t send people floating on clouds. That’s the trouble with society today—it’s looking for a Goodyear Blimp flying overhead as a sign of true love. That’s not how true love looks.

True love is lasting, persevering. It isn’t intense feelings all the time, but consistent devotion and dedication. It NEVER FAILS.

Of how love looks, Kenneth Copeland says, “You don’t just turn on and off the look of love. You have to practice love. And you don’t wait until somebody is ugly to you before you practice the love of God. You practice the love of God by first loving Him, and then when somebody does do something less than sweet to you, you’ll already be loving God, so loving them is just an offshoot.”

4. How True Love Shows Power

If you’ve been looking for one perfect, true love in your life, there’s only one place to find it—in Christ Jesus.

Even though you can never be perfect, He will always love YOU perfectly. If you ever want to know what true love feels like, acts like and looks like—look to the Cross. The love of God is full of life-changing power.

Just look at how true love shows power:

You see, there is only one true love. If you’re a believer in Jesus, you already have it. God doesn’t have love; He is Love! No other love on earth can compete with the love He has for you.

The earth can’t take it and steal it away. Mean people can’t overcome it. True love works because it is powerful, and it never fails. It is so powerful that it can love regardless of whether it is loved back.

That’s powerful love.

Agape—unconditional love—is powerful. It makes you the master of every situation. When you’re walking in it, no weapon formed against you will prosper. No one even has the ability to hurt your feelings because you are not ruled by emotions but by God’s love. You are loving as He loves. That’s manifest power right there!

Gloria Copeland says, “This love is revolutionary. If we fully understood the power of living God’s love, we’d always see success.”

Now that you know what true love really is, you can tap into this ultimate power in 2020 and see God manifest His power through you when you walk in it more and more. If you’ve always wanted to be a recipient of true love, begin by being a giver first. You’ll be amazed at what comes back to you.

From Poverty to Prosperity: The Story of God’s Miracle City

From Poverty to Prosperity

Can the power of God take an entire city from poverty to prosperity? Find out in this powerful story of God’s miracle city!

READING TIME: 5 MINUTES

Not long ago, nestled in the western highlands of Guatemala, the village of Almolonga was overcome by poverty and paganism. Fear, violence and alcoholism ruled the region; trash and waste covered the streets; and the people were drunk, depressed and lying on the roads.

Crime was rampant throughout the area, and all four city jails could not contain the number of prisoners coming in each day. Even worse, with only 3% of the population made up of born-again Christians, spiritual darkness ruled, and those who tried to share the gospel were despised and threatened.

Yet today, known as “The Miracle City,” more than 90% of its people—descendants of ancient Mayans—are born-again Christians. Radical transformations, both socially and economically, have captured the attention of journalists and scientists around the world.

This is the story of one city’s journey from poverty to prosperity. The principles they put into practice are available to every person. If you need to move from poverty to prosperity in your finances, health or relationships—or if you want to stand for your own city—you can put these same steps to work and see the same miracle-working power.

Get Rid of All Darkness

Like so many powerful moves of God, the transformation of Almolonga from poverty to prosperity began with the prayer of intercession. God put a burden on the heart of Mariano Riscajche, a local pastor, to pray for a change in the city.

One pastor. One mission. To change the atmosphere of a place he called home—to get rid of all darkness.

There was no hope and certainly no prosperity, but in 1974, this pastor began to pray. He prayed for a change in Almolonga. He prayed against the darkness and the principalities and powers over this city. Eventually, he gathered a small group of like-minded believers to come into agreement for a turnaround in the region.

They fasted, prayed and spoke declarations over the city of Almolonga. As a result, they faced intense resistance, and a lengthy spiritual battle ensued. But they wouldn’t quit.

Is a small group of Spirit-filled, praying, declaring Christians enough to change a city that has been poverty-stricken for decades?

God’s Word does not return void. He always honors 2 Chronicles 7:14. But prayer was only the beginning.

Tear Down Idols

As this small group continued in prayer and spiritual warfare, they realized one thing that must happen before they would see breakthrough—they had to tear down idols. But this was no easy task.

In the absence of a relationship with Christ, Almolongans had turned to worshipping someone—or something—else. A 3-foot-tall mummy, dressed in a suit, hat and sunglasses, was the object of their worship and hope. In alarming displays of centuries-old religious customs, the people would come, bow, kiss and kneel before this mummy, believing he would give them some type of blessing.

They were captive to a demonic force—a prison—that never delivered what they so desperately sought. They needed hope for the future and a clear path from poverty to prosperity.

As the pastor and his group of intercessors went after this demonic spirit, the resistance was harsh and strong. But it was no match for the Name of Jesus!

Through prayers and the teaching of the gospel, many began to abandon this idol worship. Families burned their idols and witchcraft paraphernalia, and people were delivered and set free from demonic possession.

Receive the Word of God With Faith and Gladness

Along with the pastor and his small group of intercessors, Living Water Teaching, a Partner ministry with KCM, was determined to see a change in Almolonga through the power of God’s Word.

They began teaching the Word of God in a Bible school the size of a shoebox. As the power of God’s Word spread throughout the region, it grew into a 23-acre Bible school campus where they teach the Word of Faith, which was entirely new for the people of Almolonga.

With hearts desperate to see change in their city, the people received the Word of God with faith and gladness. Eager to use what they’d learned, they immediately applied scriptures to their circumstances.

Then…a dramatic change.

Miraculous transformations swept through the region. People received deliverance from anger, alcoholism and demonic possession; healings took place, families were restored and churches multiplied.

The population of Almolonga went from 3% born-again Christian to over 90% of the population converting to Christianity.

What happens when Christian beliefs and values rule a nation?

Almolonga’s chief of police says he doesn’t have much work to do these days. Before, the four city jails could not hold the number of prisoners coming in each day—now, they’re completely shut down because they don’t need them anymore! They enjoy a record low crime rate, and the people are united in a spirit of community.

Watch Jeremy Pearsons and Keith Moore share how to take what you need by faith.

Rejoice in the Blessings

But it wasn’t only the people who had changed.

Prior to receiving the Word of God with faith and gladness, the farming land of Almolonga yielded small harvests of tiny vegetables. But once the people began living by God’s commandments, even the land cried out!

The fields became remarkably fertile and began yielding produce of Promised Land proportions. Carrots longer and bigger around than anything you’ve likely ever seen. Heads of cabbage 10 times the size of those that had come from the ground before.

While most fields yield one harvest per season, Almolonga fields yielded multiple harvests. The boom in agriculture caused a massive increase in the financial prosperity of the people.

Parents and children work together in the marketplace, building even stronger relationships.

The results have been so impressive that scientists have traveled to Almolonga to study what they believe is a phenomenon. They have not yet found any natural answers for this increase!

Referred to as the Home of Guatemala’s Giant Vegetables, Almolongans share their testimony with anyone who will listen. They rejoice in their blessing by giving thanks to the Lord and what He has done for them.

They know it isn’t scientific—they give God the credit.

Asked what caused the change in this once-failing city, the chief of police didn’t hesitate to reply, “The Word of God!” As the people witnessed miraculous transformations in others, they too wanted to receive the peace and blessing found in Christ.

The former prisons have been turned into places to hold community events, and of the 34 cantinas, only three remain. The people are happy, health and prospering.

Almolonga is one of the most significant examples of community transformation through spiritual warfare, receiving of the Word of God, and applying His truth to dire circumstances. This is just one example of what God wants to do everywhere. He wants every person to be saved, delivered, healed, restored, set free and prospering in this life. He’s ready and willing every single day for anyone who will reach out and take it. Who’s next?

How to Get Rid of Poverty for Good

Is Poverty God’s Will?

How to Overcome Insecurity and Low Self-Esteem

How to Overcome Insecurity

Has insecurity or low self-esteem been a lifelong struggle? It’s time to get free! Find out how.

READING TIME: 7 MINUTES

Am I enough? Does what I have to offer even mean anything to anyone? Will I ever be seen the way I want to be seen or achieve what I want to achieve? Or am I as small as I feel right now?

Do those thoughts sound familiar?

Those aren’t the only symptoms of insecurity and low self-esteem. Insecurity includes any of the following:

• Feeling inferior to others
• Comparing yourself to others
• Threatened by the success of others (therefore always elevating yourself rather than helping others succeed and advance)
• Lack of confidence
• Feeling unsafe
• Guarded in relationships
• Not knowing who you are (identity crisis)
• Having a deep need for the approval of others
• Always trying to prove yourself, your value or your holiness.

Insecurity is like a disease that consumes everything God has for you—and it is rooted in fear. Jesus came to set you free from anything holding you back—including insecurity. But you have to cooperate with Him to experience deliverance. Here’s how to get free of insecurity and low self-esteem once and for all.

1. Get a Revelation of Your Relationship With God

“We receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.” –Galatians 3:22

Often, the root of insecurities can be traced back to childhood. Someone who should’ve cared about you didn’t protect you or treasure you, or you experienced abuse. Or maybe it was a series of events that chipped away at your confidence little by little. Subconsciously, you took those feelings of rejection and stored them up in your heart and made them part of who you are. You may not think about it every day, but it lives there inside you—all the time.

Insecurity isn’t an easy bondage to break free from. In fact, those without Christ will likely carry it with them for the rest of their lives. That’s why insecurity is under the curse.

To be set free from insecurity, you need to get a revelation (not just in your mind, but deep down in your spirit) that Jesus came to set you free. Not only did He set you free from sin and sickness, but from anything—anything at all—that is attempting to hold you in bondage and keep you from living the life God has for you. That life is the abundant life—full of joy, peace, fulfillment and confidence.

You can read all the self-help books you like and even attend counseling, but until you get a revelation of God’s love for you, total freedom will remain elusive. Some people know God loves them and wants them free, but they hold onto guilt and feelings of unworthiness. They work overtime to be “enough” and acceptable to God through works—a list of do’s and don’ts they think will make them holy enough.

If you’re trying to earn right-standing with God, you’ll never make it. Galatians 2:16 says, “We have believed in Christ Jesus so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.”

Insecurity will often drive people to perform for approval, but Galatians 3:3 confirms, “How foolish can you be? After starting your new lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort?”

When you’re trying to perform for God or man, you’re missing it. Kenneth Copeland explains, “Performance orientation is based on the fear of rejection. And when you step out in faith and realize there is nothing that you can do to make God love you any less or more—that He loves you no matter what—it’s a wonderful, freeing experience.”

Get a revelation of God’s love for you. You may think you already have it, but if you’re trying to earn approval from God and man, you need more time in the Word and more time with Him. That’s why Gloria Copeland says, “The Word of God is the cure for low self-esteem.”

She adds, “The answer to low self-esteem is to get your mind off yourself, and see yourself as God sees you. When you see yourself victorious, you begin to see yourself as an overcomer.”

Spend time with the Lord until you get a revelation of who you are in Christ. You’ll know you’ve got it when you stop trying to impress others with your performance or your godliness, and when you can let the past go and focus on your glorious future.

Transform your mind with this 21-Day Faith Revolution!

2. Neutralize the Threat

“Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” –James 4:7

As much as Christ wants you free from insecurity, there’s someone else who desperately wants you to keep you chained to it forever—Satan. He will always be there whispering ugly reminders of what’s been said and done and reminding you of personal failures. All the while, he’ll be tightening the shackles that have held you back for so long.

You may feel powerless under the weight of insecurity. Still, the authority to neutralize the threat has already been placed in your hands. This is no time to question whether you have the strength to wield your spiritual sword—pick it up! Use it! Disarm the foe who has already been defeated yet keeps fighting anyway.

There is no excuse for allowing insecurity to remain in your life—and according to Kenneth Copeland, it’s dangerous:

“You’re going to have to get rid of that low self-esteem. All it does is open the door to self-pity, and self-pity opens the door to discouragement, which brings oppression. And oppression will kill you. I know because it dogged me for years until I got delivered of it.”

How do you neutralize the threat?

  • Refuse to entertain the thoughts of rejection and inadequacy the devil feeds you.
  • Talk back to those thoughts with the truth in God’s Word every time.
  • Watch for behaviors that stem from insecurity, and shut them down immediately:
  • Comparing yourself to others, including physically, intellectually, financially or careerwise
  • Criticizing others to elevate yourself
  • Feeling a need to impress others or be found acceptable in their eyes.
  • Pray and ask God to bring the Word into your heart until fear and insecurity are permanently dislodged from your life.

Get to a place where you can do as Kenneth Copeland does:

“My security in what I preach does not come because somebody told me it was good. And my insecurity does not come because somebody told me it was bad. I couldn’t care less either way.”

That’s when you know you’re free.

3. Pursue Humility

“Let someone else praise you, not your own mouth.” –Proverbs 27:2

Now, wait a minute. We’re talking about overcoming insecurity, right? How could someone who feels insecure also struggle with humility?

Ah, yes. Well, it happens to be that those who are insecure are those who also struggle the most with humility. Pride becomes a defense mechanism against any more blows to their self-esteem. It says, As long as I can point out the faults of others, it will take my mind off my own feelings of inadequacy.

Maybe you’ve heard that voice yourself. You know, the one that says, “Well, at least I don’t __ [fill in the blank]” (think Pharisees and Judas).
Low self-esteem is not of God, but as Brother Copeland says, “Pride is the ditch on the other side of the road.”

He adds, “I mean, this is right down in the nitty-gritty where more Christians are failing than any other area after they get into faith. More faith people fail right here when they bounce from low self-esteem to pride, back to low self-esteem, then back to pride again.”

The flesh wants to put up a wall and protect itself from further criticism and feelings of failure—it doesn’t think it can handle any more correction from God or anyone else. But that’s a lie of the devil. Facing your shortcomings and accepting God’s correction will promote you, not set you back. That’s why it is so important to pursue humility.

Romans 12:3 (NIV) says, “Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought.” That’s not for the good of others—it’s for your good. Pride is a blessing blocker, and it is unacceptable in the eyes of God. That’s why He resists the proud (James 4:6). No matter how bad you think someone else’s behavior is, pride is no better.

Gloria Copeland explains, “People who suffer from low self-esteem think about themselves a lot. You start to center yourself in pride and think more highly of yourself than you ought…and [low self-esteem and pride] both have the same result—they make you the main focus of your life.”

You may not think you have a problem with pride, but if you have any insecurity in your life, think again. Don’t be so prideful you can’t even admit to having pride in your life! You can get free of both insecurity and pride by pursuing humility.

Kenneth Copeland is living proof. Here, he shares his testimony:
“I had so much low self-esteem in me, and I covered it with pride and ego. On the inside, I’m telling you, I was hurtin’.

“And after I got born again, particularly the first five or six years, I didn’t know enough about the Word of God. I didn’t know God loved me. Oh, I could quote, ‘For God so loved the world,’ but it wasn’t personal.

“I hadn’t believed the love. I’d experienced a little bit of it ’cause I got born again. But I hadn’t believed it, and it hadn’t become an intimate thing to me. That’s why it was easy for the devil to push me around.”

Kenneth was healed and delivered from insecurity and pride. He wants you to experience the same freedom. Here’s his advice to you:

“There is such a problem with low self-esteem. Well, that’s what you get when self becomes your esteem. You’re trying to esteem the wrong one. Forget yourself. Amen. It’s not about you.

“Quit looking at yourself through the way you feel, and begin to look at you through Jesus’ eyes. He said, ‘I died for you, my brother, my sister. I gave My life for you. You’ve been reborn. Old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. And all things are of God. I know you messed up, and I shed My blood for you. Now, you repent and judge yourself for it, and let’s get back in here and get at it again.’”

Watch Gloria Copeland and Pastor George Pearsons teach you why humility is a prerequisite for promotion.

4. Let God Dig Around in Your Heart

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” –Psalm 147:3 (NIV)

Maybe it seems like we’ve already done some digging around thus far, but this is different.

Here’s the trouble with insecurity—it only lets God come in so far. Then, it decides it has done enough, and all that’s left must be that pesky devil. Yes. The devil is a factor, but he isn’t the only one with responsibility here.
If you really want to be delivered from insecurity—to be healed of the hurts that caused it in the first place—you’ll do what you don’t want to do, and let God dig around in your heart.

What is He digging for? The root. And pulling a big, old root tears up the ground around it for a bit. That’s the not-so-fun part of the process. But without it, you’ll remain stuck in neutral. True deliverance comes from letting God find those tender places no one else can—even you—and do what only He can.

(Learn how to be led by the Spirit of God HERE).

When you learn how to overcome insecurity and low self-esteem with God’s help, you are on your way to freedom! Don’t be afraid. Trust His process. Trust His love for you. Trust that His will for you is freedom, joy, peace and abundance. When you follow this plan, you can experience the healing and deliverance from insecurity you never thought possible. Don’t remain in this prison any longer. Receive your deliverance and go free!

What About the Year 2020?

What About the Year 2020?

During 2019, the Lord spoke through Kenneth Copeland on several occasions about the year 2020. The following is part of what the Lord said. Take time to meditate on these powerful words.

“What about 2020? Many things will be said about vision in 2020 because of the natural nature of 20/20 eyesight. But you and I, and those who seek the face of God and know the voice of God…will have vision, insight, ideas and concepts.”

And it will be a time of the fulfilling of the word that was spoken in My WORD that said, ‘The young men and the old men shall have visions and dreams.’ My dream, saith The LORD, is the continued rebirth of this nation. It has already begun, and it will continue. For you see, in these last days, I have taken over the politics of the United States. This is the only nation ever founded by a people specifically because they loved Me and wanted to worship Me. And I have never forgotten it, and I never will forget it…I am the God of this country.

And it will be reported far and wide, and people will come from far and wide, and they will say things and they will do things that they have no idea why they said them or why they did them. For, in 2020 the continued rebirth of this nation is a surety. It is a good thing. And you will see it come to a place…that is more than you have ever dreamed or wanted in a place. This is Mine. I promise you and I give you My solemn word, saith the Spirit of grace….

I knew what to do with the Pharaohs. And these little politicians of today, ha, ha, ha, oh, they are so easy to deal with compared to the Pharaohs of old. But I knew how to deal with them. I know how to deal with politicians today. Oh, there are those who think they know. They think they’re doing what they’re supposed to do, ha, ha, ha, all over the world. Oh yeah. I know them all. I understand them all. I have insight into their thinking….

You hear Me now. You understand what I’m saying. From the top of the world and all over the world, wherever there’s a government, wherever there are people, wherever there’s voting, wherever the people can’t vote, I’m there. Wherever people seek My Name, I am there. And those who don’t think I hear, don’t misunderstand a word I’m saying. I hear it, and I move in behalf of it whether you think I do or not, or whether they think I do or not. I hear the cries of My people. And there are certain things that are taking place today that would never have taken place had My people not prayed and cried out to Me. Oh, these are the days, saith The LORD. These are the days of mighty grace. These are the days of wonder grace. Certain lines have been drawn. Certain things that can’t be crossed. Certain things that cannot be changed. Other things that can be and will be changed. Certain lines have been attempted to be crossed, but they can’t because they are established in My WORD, saith The LORD. And I know what I’m doing.

2020: The Year of New Visions

“The LORD is revealing new visions this coming year that will be absolutely stunning. They will include insights, ideas and concepts that have never been heard of before. Joel 2:28-29 (and Acts 2:16-18) tells us, ‘It shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit.’”

2020: The Year of Change and Manifest Power

“2020 will be a year of great change. Wonderful and magnificent changes in the kingdom of God in the earth. Changes that will come because of insights, ideas and concepts directly from Jesus to His Church by His mighty Spirit. Glorious concepts of how His laws work; the laws governing increase and financial prosperity; the laws of the Spirit that release miracles and divine healings and manifestations of His Almighty power on the earth. New concepts of His love; His very person; for He is love. Insights into the true power and strength of His joy.

“It will be days of political change, great victories and great defeats. For the spiritual enemies of God and His people shall be crushed—spirits, not flesh and blood. But there are those on both sides of the political divide who refuse to listen to The LORD Advocate General of the Church. Their dreams shall be dashed, their desires shall be wounded, and they will be removed from their offices and replaced, some by the ballot, some by tragedy, and some who in despair will quit and go do something else.”

This is My country, saith The LORD Jesus. It was founded by people who love Me for the sole purpose of their love and desire to worship Me and to worship the Almighty God, and I will never forget that. Change. 2020—the Year of Change and Manifested Power, saith The LORD.

2020: The Year of Removal of Politicians

Those politicians who refuse My call to unite and become the United States of America, and not just “America.” Those politicians who refuse to listen and those politicians who continue the pathway of hate, I will remove them from their places. I will remove their influence from the record books. I will remove their candle in their families. I will remove them from office and put someone in there who will.

How to Experience Visions and Dreams in 2020

How to Experience Dreams and Visions in 2020

The 2020 Word of the Lord given to Brother Copeland says that there will be an increase in dreams and visions. Find out how to experience visions and dreams in 2020!

READING TIME: 6 MINUTES

You wake in the middle of the night. Clearer than reality itself, you had a dream. And you know it wasn’t an ordinary dream because it’s not just resonating in your mind—it’s stirring in your spirit. Unlike other dreams, you remember it vividly for days, weeks, even years to come. And you know God was speaking to you.

Two of the ways God speaks to His children—or gets messages to His people—are visions and dreams. Throughout Scripture, He uses them to free the oppressed and turn hearts back to Him. More importantly, visions and dreams give people hope.

If you’ve never experienced visions and dreams from the Lord—or even if you have—the word of the Lord through Brother Kenneth Copeland for 2020 says we can expect to see a substantial increase in visions and dreams.

Here is an excerpt from the 2020 Word of the Lord to Kenneth Copeland:

What about 2020? Many things will be said about vision in 2020 because of the natural nature of 20/20 eyesight. But you and I, and those who seek the face of God and know the voice of God, we will have vision, insight, ideas and concepts. And it will be a time of the fulfilling of the word that was spoken in My WORD that said, “The young men and the old men shall have visions and dreams.”

We are on the cusp of great and mighty waves of His presence, signs, miracles and wonders. You can be part of this great move. But there are steps you must take to participate.

You can learn how to experience visions and dreams in 2020 by considering the following excerpts from Brother Kenneth Copeland’s word of the Lord for the year 2020. Then, with prayer, follow the action steps you can take in response.

1. Expect to Experience Visions and Dreams

2020 will be a year of great change. Wonderful and magnificent changes in the kingdom of God on the earth.

Do you want to be in the inner circle when it comes to new insights into how His laws work?

You can. But first, you’ve got to turn up your expectancy. Don’t necessarily expect to start having visions and dreams all the time, but be on the lookout. If you have a vision or dream, don’t brush it off—consider whether it is from the Lord, and ask Him to reveal its meaning to you. Even if you do not have visions and dreams, expect to hear from others who do, and glean from what God has shown them.

But, be warned: Not every dream and vision is from the Lord. The enemy will try to lead you astray with false revelations. The Bible warns us that the enemy “disguises himself as an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14). He’ll use dreams and visions to sow seeds of doubt, discouragement and ungodly direction for the unsuspecting believer.

You can know if visions and dreams are from the Lord by testing them in the following ways:

  1. Test Visions and Dreams Against the Word. Messages from the Lord will never contradict His own Word.
  2. Test Visions and Dreams in Prayer. If a dream or vision comes from the Lord, it only stands to reason that He is the best person to confirm it. “Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come” (Jeremiah 33:3). How do we go about doing this? We pray in the Name of Jesus and ask the Holy Spirit to confirm what we believe the dream or vision is saying.
  3. Test Dreams and Visions With Spiritual Counselors. It’s good to share our dreams and visions with trusted, Spirit-led believers, and ask them to join with us in prayer about them. Proverbs 11:14 says, “There is safety in having many advisers.”

Though it’s wise to be cautious, it’s time to turn up your expectancy to experience visions and dreams in 2020.

2. Commit to Time in Prayer

The value of prayer is more than you’ve ever known, and the times of prayer, the times of intercession have come to a place where it’s no longer so much of the groaning but the praising and the shouting. For the victory is come! Hallelujah!

Kenneth Copeland stresses there is only one way to be on the receiving end of visions and dreams and the revelation that comes with them—PRAYER. Not just your daily quiet time, or time spent praying in the car on the way to work. It’s going to require a commitment to time devoted to prayer and prayer alone.

The kind of dedication to prayer that will see visions and dreams in 2020 is one that puts all else aside to press in to the voice of the Lord. It’s one that will sacrifice sleep or a favorite television show to spend time in purposeful prayer.

Find 5 Tips for Creating a Prayer Routine You’ll Actually Stick With HERE.

Kenneth shared a story about a time when Jerry Savelle was working toward a goal of time in prayer. To do this, he had to get up very early in the morning, and he often fell asleep in the middle of his prayer. He was so committed to prayer, he forced himself to stand on the edge of his bathtub to pray. He knew if he didn’t stay awake, he would fall! (Do not try this at home.)

If you want to experience visions and dreams in 2020, commit to regular time in prayer. It will prime your heart for all God has to say to you.

Watch Kenneth Copeland teach you how praying in the spirit prepares you for the future.

3. Get Serious About Interceding

I have had intercessors since the very beginning. It got down to a few, but I’ve always had a few. Now I have an abundance of intercessors and pray-ers and seekers who seek first the kingdom of God. And they are in every nation on this planet. The value of prayer is more than you’ve ever known, and the times of prayer, the times of intercession have come to a place where it’s no longer so much of the groaning but the praising and the shouting. For the victory is now.

As you’re spending dedicated time in prayer, get serious about interceding. God is calling His intercessors! Maybe you’ve never felt led to step into those shoes, but we are all called to intercede at times—now is that time. Ask the Lord to stir up the heart of intercession within you, and show you how and for whom to intercede.

Set aside time each day to put your own needs and requests aside and intercede for others, like:

• Your church
• Your nation and its leaders
• Ministries
• Missionaries around the world
• Pastors
• Revival
• Anything else the Lord puts on your heart

As you commit to interceding, you put yourself in position to hearing from God through visions and dreams in 2020.

4. Stand for Your Nation

My dream, saith The LORD, is the continued rebirth of this nation. It has already begun, and it will continue; for you see, in these last days, saith God, I have taken over the politics of the United States. It will be days of political change, great victories and great defeats. For the spiritual enemies of God and His people shall be crushed. Spirits, not flesh and blood.

But, there are those on both sides of the political divide who refuse to listen to The LORD Advocate General of the Church. Their dreams shall be dashed, their desires shall be wounded, and they will be removed from their offices and replaced, some by the ballot, some by tragedy, and some who in despair will quit and go do something else.

This is My country, saith The LORD Jesus. It was founded by people who love Me for the sole purpose of their love and desire to worship Me and to worship the Almighty God, and I will never forget that. Change. 2020. The year of Change and Manifested Power.

A large part of the word of the Lord through Brother Copeland for 2020 revolves around big changes coming to nations, including the United States. To be in line with God’s heart, and experience visions and dreams in 2020, it is critical that you stand for your nation—not from a heart of criticism, but a heart of faith.

Faith doesn’t complain—it stands on the Word. Faith doesn’t criticize; it lifts up in prayer. Faith doesn’t vote according to personal interests; it votes according to the Word of God. Faith obeys God’s Word, which says, “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, ESV).

You can experience visions and dreams in 2020 when you begin to expect, pray, intercede and stand for your nation. We are embarking on a critical and victorious time in the Body of Christ. Come be a part of it!
